Open several documents and PDFs at once in a tab strip, keep your draft and the PDF you’re citing side by side, and switch between them instantly — your open tabs are remembered for the session.

What it does

The Workspace gives Diglot a row of tabs so you can work with more than one thing at a time. Open documents and PDFs each get a tab, and you can switch between them without losing your place.

You can also split the screen in two — your document on one side, a source PDF on the other — so you can write and read your reference at the same time.

How to find it

• Tabs appear as you open documents and PDFs.
• Use the split view to put a document and a PDF side by side.
• Press Cmd+K to jump to recent items and switch between tabs.
• Your open tabs are remembered while your browser tab stays open.

Limitations

• Open tabs are remembered for the session — they don’t survive a full browser restart.
• You can edit one document at a time. The other side can show a PDF or a read-only view, but not a second editable document.
• The split view is two panes at most — no free-form window tiling.
• The Knowledge Graph and certificates aren’t tabs. The Graph opens full-screen and a certificate opens as a pop-up.

Common questions

Will I lose my open tabs if I close the browser? Tabs are remembered for the session, not across a full restart.

Can I edit two documents at once? No — one editable document at a time. The other side can show a PDF or a read-only view.

Can I write and read a PDF at the same time? Yes — that’s the split view: your document on one side, the PDF on the other.

How do I jump back to something I had open? Press Cmd+K to bring up recent items and switch tabs.

Why isn’t the Graph a tab? The Graph and certificates open as full-screen or pop-up views by design, not as tabs.
