File Manager

The File Manager is your home for everything you write in Diglot. It’s where you create documents, sort them into folders, find them again, and tidy up. You can star the ones you reach for often, drag things around, work on several at once, and recover anything you delete by mistake.

  • Your dashboard is the main screen after you log in.
  • The left sidebar — visible in the editor too — shows your recent documents and folder tree, so you can jump between documents without leaving what you’re writing.
  • Switch between a list view and a grid view, sort by date or title, and filter by Favorites or Trash.

  • Documents are personal to your account — shared and team folders aren’t available yet.
  • Importing existing Word or PDF files into Diglot isn’t available yet.
  • Search currently matches document titles; searching inside document text is on the way.
  • Can I organize documents into subfolders? Yes. Folders nest inside one another, up to your plan’s depth (Free 2, Spark 3, Pro 5, Max 8 levels).
  • What happens when I delete a folder with documents inside? You choose: delete just the folder (the documents move up a level), or delete the folder and its documents (everything goes to Trash).
  • Is there a recycle bin? Yes — deleted documents go to Trash. You can restore them, delete them permanently, or empty the Trash to clear everything at once.
  • Can I search inside document content? Right now search matches titles. Full content search is on the way.
  • Can I export several documents at once? Yes. Select the ones you want and choose Export.
